WASHINGTON, DC – The Financial Services Forum today announced that Laena Fallon has been named Vice President for Communications. Her appointment is effective the beginning of August.
“Laena brings to the Forum strong communication expertise, national media experience and a sophisticated understanding of Capitol Hill,” said Forum President and CEO Rob Nichols. “She will be an extraordinary asset for our members as we go about communicating the important role the financial sector plays in economic growth and job creation.”
Fallon is Communications Director for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Previously, she served as Press Secretary for the Majority Leader, as well as Communications Director and Press Secretary for former U.S. Senator Judd Gregg.
“I look forward to joining an organization focused on addressing the top financial and economic challenges facing our country,” Fallon said. “The Forum plays a critical role in promoting policies that support a sound and competitive financial services marketplace, economic growth and job creation."
Fallon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.
