FORUM COMMENDS SENATE CONFIRMATION OF FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD NOMINEES
WASHINGTON, D.C – Forum President and CEO Rob Nichols released the following statement on today’s Senate confirmation of Harvard University professor Jeremy Stein and former Treasury Department official Jerome Powell to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors:
“We are pleased the Senate has confirmed Jeremy Stein and Jerome Powell to the Federal Reserve Board. As a result, the Federal Reserve Board will be at full strength for the first time since 2006. Stein’s and Powell’s expertise will be critical at this consequential time for our economy."
